Raventos I Blanc Brut 'L'Hereu'

The best Cava produced!

A blend of 60% Macabeo, 20% Xarel-lo and 20% Parellada from 100% estate-bottled fruit, the Brut “L’Hereu” from Raventos is simply one of the best examples of Cava we have tried at any price point! The wine is bright and lively with fruity aromas of lemon and green apple and more complex notes of fresh baked bread. The palate is well structured with tiny bubbles that dance across the palate.

Regular price is $17.99, on sale June 22nd to 28th for $14.99

  1. Indeed this is a special estate. It is extremely rare that a Cava producer works with 100% estate juice, after all Cava for the most part is a bulk production product much like the main stream Champagne. But Raventos i Blanc is different. The Raventos family is now a 3rd generation caretaker of some the most beautiful vineyards in all of Cataluna, and all of Spain for that matter. Quality Grower Champagne is thier benchmark, and this entry level Cava is an impressive start. The estate produces 3 bubblies of higher stature, with a little Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in them, but which ever bottling you choose, you will be enjoying true Methode Champenoise, that is served at every 3 star Michelin restaurant in Spain. A true gem of a value.
